about

From 2016-2021 you couldn't turn on the TV, the radio, or open YouTube or Twitter without the latest Donald Trump scandal being the leading story.
I'd written a pro-Bernie Sanders anthem "Revolution Feeling" which never made the cut for the album. I was so dejected by the 2020 primary result that I abandoned finishing the recording. It still hurts a bit. I had and still have a feeling that we haven't seen the last of "the orange man" though. I suspect he'll beat Biden in 2024 - despite everything.
"Have we reached rock bottom?"

lyrics

We’re starting a trade war
We’re gonna get what we paid for
Keep the economy stable
Coz this deal’s off the table

Leaders of men they all fear me
In stadiums they all cheer me
I get my way oh one way or another
Excuse me

Listen boys up the back
Here’s our plan of attack
Learn the rules of the age-old game
Rip it up, burn it down
Put the boots on the ground
We will bow to the king of pain

Have we reached rock bottom?

We’re starting a trade war
Keep your eye on the stage door
Every sinner’s a saviour
Never mind their behaviour

A time to be outspoken
To keep our promises broken
There’s no reason to change what has always worked for us

Listen boys up the back
Here’s our plan of attack
Learn the rules of the age-old game
Rip it up, burn it down
Put the boots on the ground
We will bow to the king of pain

Have we reached rock bottom?

Listen boys up the back
Here’s our plan of attack
Learn the rules of the age-old game
Rip it up, burn it down
Put the boots on the ground
We will bow to the king of pain

No I won’t shake your hand ‘til you meet our demands
Back it up, pack it up and go!
There’s a line, pick a side, as we drift to the right
Back it up, pack it up, let’s go

Have we reached rock bottom?
